Akademi Bekerja Di Rumah oleh Mas Ayu Ahmad

Salam Ramadhan.

Text: Rozanah Zakaria

I always have been dreaming since forever. I want to be my own boss, managing my family and my career on my own, yet it still remains as dreams (thousands of them as I love to dream...every time). I don't want to regret my pasts as I can see now they contribute aplenty to my managing a hectic life I am having now...well, of course, in the very positive ways! I cherished those moments of 'black and white' experiences...for being my best guides ever in me charting my life now and for my future!!

Then one fine beautiful day, I read this fb updated status of my of my schoolmate, Sharimah Yahya leading me to her blog sharimahyahya.blogspot. From there I read about this Akademi Bekerja Dari Rumah, by a famous and well-known guru of WAHM, Mas Ayu Ahmad.

Actually I have been reading about Mas Ayu and about her renowned blog at naufalsayang.blogspot. Yet still those days, my reading a lot of materials just remains as mere the satisfaction I get for my love for reading passion. Yet, looking at her blog -my friend's - writing about all these, I feel that this is the TIME!!! I would wait no more! I want to realize my dreams, being on my own, on the targeted date of 31 December 2019! This is my pledge to myself, as I foresee myself reading this entry five years later, smiling ear to ear that I finally achieved my long lost and postponed dreams of being 'free' and stand just by myself in the working world, yet I have thousands business partners that are supporting each other!

Gusto to myself! Let's start now!

Adios!

Redefine...rejuvenate...

Salam Ramadhan...

Syukur Alhamdulillah as we still have the chance to be with Ramadhan this year...

Starting January this year...I always feel that I don't have "enough time"...owh...how could this be that everyone one of us is granted the equal hours, 24? I myself could barely provide the best answer to my own query... :)

However...I always believe make it a point to spend my time for these people in my life: loving hubby, gorgeous daughter, respected parents & parents in law, and most importantly, MYSELF!

In doing that, I do a little bit of 'adjustments' to my daily schedule...trying to slip in many things as possible in the stipulated time and try not to waste time as possible as I don't want my procrastinating 'stealing' my precious planned time with my beloved ones and myself...

In the 'journey' to finding 'more time', I read a few beneficial books like 168 Hours, The Secret, I Move Your Cheese and It;s Not About the Coffee (Starbucks story).

That is my simple story...now I must make a move for collecting my order of Murtabak Special and delivering the Kebab's mix to my nephew for his Ramadhan stall...till then, may Allah blesses us all especially during this Holy Month of Ramadhan...adios!

It's The Day...Again...

Text: Rozanah Zakaria

Salam, it's school holiday, already!

To celebrate, (haha) I've started with a tuition class for my beloved SPM students this year on Tuesday afternoon, when all teachers and students had all gone home, these students waited for me patiently @3.15pm for the class.

The class wasn't full though, yet satisfaction was the only word in my mind dictionary coz it was a full-of-concentration, -discussion and -patience meet-up. We discussed on writing mechanics till 4.45pm, not even one asked anything about the going-back-late-in-the-afternoon-on-eve-of-school-holiday. Bravo my students!

Another thing I did to 'celebrate' the coming of the school holiday, which I cherish so much every time, was starting my spring cleaning. I started with my homestay, tidying up any mess. Back at my mother-in-law's home, I juz finished hanging all clothes at the balcony then I realised it was almost half past midnight! It's the new day...I feel more energetic...reminiscing of the leisure tomorrow, how awesome life will be, at least for the next 19 days. (haha)

It's the new chapter in my life...homestay biz is catching up, so happy with that, then having enrolled my daughter for swimming class this afternoon, there's the zing in me to seeing my daughter handling herself. Bit by bit.on her own.*wink*

Till then...happy holiday especially to my colleagues and all teachers out there, WE deserve the holiday, so cherish it with things you love! Adios!

Be Grateful for this Day

Salam...life is great should we count our blessings everyday. My entry this time is to talk about the blessings that i got during my recent journey to a parenting seminar organized by my daughter's kindy, Little Caliphs Sungai Dua, Butterworth. My journey starts when i reached Butterworth Bus Terminal, and bought 3 tickets after much persuasion (or rather i would say 'force') from 'ulat tiket' there...getting quite frustrated being pushed to buy the ticket without i could possibly think clearly...made me reminisced while waiting for my husband to reach there from his workplace. However, our trip proved to be a pleasant one...Alhamdulillah...we reached @Kajang Bus Stand where my brother fetched us...

There...reunion for our small families...I am grateful coz should there not be for the seminar to attend, it would be so many obstacles & hesitation on our part to pay them a visit after our last whole family reunion @PD end of last year...that's another blessing i counted after the pleasant bus trip...which my daughter was soooo excited about...(happy to see he so happy)

Plus, the next day, my daughter was so happy to have the chance to play with her cousins for the whole day while me & my husband attended the seminar......

Late afternoon...going out from the seminar hall, there were booths selling various items plus food. I got myself a parenting magazine + 3 other titles of my choice for free! ...

Getting down to ground level, there were stalls selling food, cookies...and the like...remembering the little ones at my bro's home, i bought 4 choco lolli for them...3 nieces & my daughter...i smiled to myself.

Inside the car, they smiled happily getting the spongebob & friends pics on top of their lolli......

Reaching home in heavy rain, a few friends of my sis in law were there... it was for my eldest niece birthday small feast...so i got to know new friends......

That night...we boarded another bus heading back to penang...during the journey home, my husband got to know a male teacher sitting beside him...they were talking...he got an acquaintance...

Reaching home, i felt so tired yet satisfied for my journey of countless blessings...

Alhamdulillah...
